SUMMER BOOTCAMP

The Future Leaders Bootcamp programme is aimed at building tomorrow’s leaders through the adoption of Education for Sustainable Development approaches. This 1 day programme seeks to support children from poor and marginalized backgrounds to develop competencies that would enable them to contribute meaningfully to the economic, social and environmental needs of their communities. The Future Leaders Bootcamp programme has a carefully designed curriculum to ensure that participants gain vital skills required to champion innovative solutions that are locally relevant and culturally appropriate.

Tech Week Series

Tech-Week 1.0 will focus on exposing the children to the implementation of ICT through basic Web Programming. Exposing students to programming at a young age will help them develop skills that will permit them at the end of their studies to be self-employed and easily integrated into the working population. However, all students don’t have to be computer programmers to benefit from knowing how to code. In fact, computer science and technology currently influence majority of professions, be it medicine, law, education, farming, political science, business management, engineering or marketing.
